For one of our clients, a direct affiliate of an international pharmaceutical company operating in the Caribbean, Latin America, and Central America, we are searching for an Accounting and Office Senior Assistant.

In this dual-role position, you will support both the finance and administrative teams. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident working with numbers, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills.

Tasks:

Accounting Duties:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • In charge of petty cash and travel cash expense reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage office correspondence, filing, and documentation
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
  • Support general tasks on visitor passes and others
  • Handle travel arrangements and reimbursements
  • Assist with general office management tasks as required

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting and/or administrative support roles
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is a must
  • Experience with accounting software, SAP B1, is a plus
  • Experience with month-end closing accounting procedures
  • Working with and complying with deadlines is a must
  • Analysis and reporting of accounting information

Preferred Ǫualifications:

  • Experience in a similar dual-role position
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Familiarity with document management systems
